Legend says that Abu Nein shares a song title with the blues musician and songwriter Robert Johnson (1911-1938), viz. “Love in Vain”. The story goes that Johnson went to a crossroads at midnight and signed off his soul with the devil – and in exchange he received a gift. Over one night, he became the best blues songwriter and guitar player ever. Abu Nein’s music is also draped in shadows. A warning is in order: Quite conceivably their souls belong to the dark powers as well.

Abu Nein is perhaps also the only band that not only sells records, t-shirts and patches, but also merch such as ouija boards and death flutes. This night will not be an exception.

ABU NEIN har de senaste åren skakat om en hel postpunkvärld och skapat en ny scen för mörk musik i Malmö. Medlemmarnas olika musikaliska bakgrunder har tillsammans fusionerats till en genreöverskridande romantisk, sotig och sakral ljudbild med lika delar nostalgi och framtidsblickande. Deras debutalbum ”Secular Psalms” har hyllats med en nominering på Manifestgalan och vunnit årets debutalbum på Synthsläggan.

SOLYARA
Med sin helt egen stil og tilgang sprænger Solyara de musikalske grænser og bygger bro mellem genrer og sprog. Solyara er lig med atmosfærisk lyd, elektroniske beats, synthflader og langstrakte
dronepassager. På kosmisk vis svæver den æteriske vokal gennem universet og lader støj og stjernestøv forenes på smukkeste vis. Stilen er ambient, stemningsfuld og eksperimenterende, og inspirationen hentes bl.a. fra Neofolk,
Gothic og Dark Wave acts som Dead Can Dance, Coil, Anna von Hausswolff og Chelsea Wolfe.

Solyara blev skabt i 2016 som et soloprojekt af sanger, musiker og sangskriver Laura
Noszczyk (AEX, Yellowish, Machinery of Joy m.fl.). Med tiden er guitarist Dave Müller blevet en integreret og naturlig del af konceptet, og han er derfor med til at fuldende liveoplevelsen.
