Jake La Botz’s rough and tumble Chicago upbringing led him to learn the blues from the last of the pre-war era bluesmen. From there, with guitar in tow, he made his way across the USA ’til he hit the end of the line in Hollywood where an improbable acting career began to unfold. After getting clean from heroin at thirty years old, La Botz became a Buddhist Meditation practitioner and teacher. He also took his bluesy guitar chops to a Black Baptist church in South Central L.A. where he steeped himself in gospel music.

Ever since then La Botz has been putting out his own brand of Gospel-noir Americana. The eccentric stories, characters, and underlying spiritual messages heard in his songs come to a head on his latest album Hair on Fire.
Beyond music and acting, La Botz is also a writer. A graphic memoir in collaboration with graphic novelist Nic Breutzman will soon be finished. La Botz’s short fiction can be found in several American literary magazines including The Inquisitive Eater, Metonymy Literary Journal, and The Museum of Americana. A book of short stories and a novella are in the works. La Botz’s most recent film, D.O.A., stars fellow musician John Doe from the band X.

For what began life as something of a side project for Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish, a labour of love, a homage to the classic country duets of the 60’s and 70’s, My Darling Clementine has grown and grown, and to some degree, has even overtaken the solo careers of it’s two main protagonists. In a twelve year period they have released six critically acclaimed albums, a DVD collection, and played over 800 shows right across the world. The numerous accolades and awards they have won has placed the band at the forefront of the ever burgeoning Americana scene. We are delighted to welcome My Darling Clementine (aka Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish) as they continue to tour in support of their most recent, critically acclaimed release ’Country Darkness – the songs of Elvis Costello’

Peter Case & Sid Griffin (US)

PETER CASE is a three time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter from the USA who has a most impressive resume. He was the founder of THE NERVES, the very first American indie band to put together a nationwide tour and one of the very first to release their own indie EP. He then was the founder and leader of the legendary PLIMSOULS, an incredibly influential L.A. rock and roll band which drew praise from everyone from Elvis Costello to Tom Petty to critics nationwide.
For the past thirty-some years Peter Case has been a solo troubadour in the great tradition of Dylan, Guthrie, and Pete Seeger. Early on he was produced by T-Bone Burnett and he’s played with and been championed by Roger McGuinn, Van Dyke Parks, Mike Campbell of Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers and many more. His latest album is The Midnight Broadcast and it just might be his very best album.


SID GRIFFIN is best known for his leadership of THE LONG RYDERS, the founding fathers of alt-country and Americana. He is also the proud artist behind four well-received solo albums, was the leader of the wonderful ‘alt-bluegrass’ UK band, THE COAL PORTERS, he was the Resident Musicologist on BBC 6 Music’s Radcliffe & Maconie radio show for over a decade and Sid has written four books.

Elisabeth Carlisle is an American singer-songwriter from Santa Cruz, California. She is known for her poignant lyrics and distinguished melodies. Her ballads can cut to the heart, and her coastal California roots bring energy and good Americana rock to her shows. The Elisabeth Carlisle Band WITH AMIR ALY, PELLE JERNRYD, MATTIAS PEDERSEN, JÖRGEN LARSSON-LINDSTRÖM, AND GÖRAN ENGSTRÖM has performed at festivals, clubs and concert halls in both Sweden and the US over the past 20 years. They are fresh off their Copper Trail Tour from Montana to California this past fall and will kick off 2024 with a return to where it all began with a performance at Medley in Malmö on March 28th.

Support Act Aidan Paul is a recording artist from Miami, Florida. He is a resident performer for the popular venue, The Moon, located in the art district of Miami called Wynwood. His vocals can range from rich jazz to disco pop and his personalized version of Chris Stapleton’s ”Tennessee Whiskey” has been known to bring down the house. Aidan Paul’s original music can be found on all streaming platforms, including his recent release, Disco Love, in collaboration with CATDADDY and recorded and produced by Amir Aly at YLA Studios in Malmö, Sweden.

Elisabeth’s debut album, No Worries, was followed by a tour opening for Meredith Brooks (hit song ”Bitch”) in Europe and the US in 1999. In 2000, Elisabeth met Swedish producer Amir Aly while she was working as a pianist at the Tahonga Room in Malmö and the two began their 20 year working relationship. Elisabeth began to work with Swedish musicians Pelle Jernryd, Thomas Holst, Mattias Pedersen, Göran Engstrom, Amir Aly, and Carl-Alberto Bettini for her second CD, Roll with the Flow, released in 2004. Her band performed at Sweden’s Peace and Love Festival, as well as taking a California tour, which included LA’s Viper Room and Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz. The band added bassist Jörgen Larsson-Lindström in 2010.

Elisabeth Carlisle EP, was released with four new songs in 2011, and then a single, ”Beyond These Walls,” in 2018, followed by a tour with the band through Montana, Utah and California. In 2023 she released two new singles, ”Never Let Go” and ”The Great Divide,” co-written with Amir Aly and Swedish country artist Cicci Landen. Eric Bazilian (member of The Hooters and songwriter of ”One of Us,” performed by Joan Osborne) contributed as a guest artist by playing mandolin on the new singles. Guest musicians, like Paul McCartney’s guitarist Rusty Anderson and the original guitarist from YES, the late Peter Banks, have also played on her songs over the years.

James Maddock är den verkliga engelsmannen i New York City. Med sin själfulla röst och ett låtmaterial som rör sig obehindrat mellan folk, pop och rock anses han av många som en av de främsta nu verksamma inom singer-songwriter-genren.

Ben Arnold är låtskrivaren, artisten och producenten med en kärv och varm röst som varit en hörnsten i Philadelphias musikliv sedan 80-talet. Han har turnerat flitigt i Europa med sitt band US Rails de senaste 25 åren och är involverad i mängder av musikaliska samarbeten.

Hans ”Ludde” Ludvigsson är det svenska inslaget i trion som sedan starten -79 både haft ett långt uppehåll, etablerat sig som en Springsteen-tolkare och sedan hittat tillbaka till sitt eget låtskrivande sedan ”debutalbumet” 2007. YVETTE EKLUND med band var de första artisterna som sålde ut medley malmö! Nu får vi en ny chans att njuta av denna karismatiska sångerska och hennes unika uttrycksfulla röst som en del av hyllningskonserten till Emmylou Harris. Yvettes egen musik är inspirerad av 70-talets Rock’n’Roll och Soul kryddat med Americana-dofter. Tidigare i år släppte Yvette Eklund Band sitt andra kritikerhyllade album ”No Baggage Allowed”.

CICCI LANDÉN är en singer-songwriter i americana-genren med en röst i internationell toppklass. Hennes musikaliska resor till Montana, Nashville och Los Angeles har gett erfarenhet och inspiration. Senast turnerade hon i USA med Elisabeth Carlisle Band och hennes nysläppta album ”The Sands of Time” hyllas av alla! I höstas vann Cicci ”Female vocalist of the year” på Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards 2023.

Så, i februari 2024 återvänder Ward Hayden och hans band! Med sin bitterljuva hybrid av traditionell country, klassisk rock ’n’ roll och nutida Americana har de blivit publikfavoriter i Skandinavien. I samband med turnén släpps även Ward Hayden & The Outliers nya album. En platta där Hayden tagit ett stort kliv framåt som låtskrivare och där bandet vidgat sin musikaliska palett ytterligare. JOE D’URSO: Americana-Jersey Shore-Rock’n’Roll-songwriter. Inspirerad av sina vänner/samarbetspartners: Bruce Springsteen, Little Steven, Wiilie Nile, Garland Jeffreys och Joe Grushecky. Drivande kraft i Light of Day, Pinkfest (bröstcancer) och Why Hunger.

WILLIAMS HONOR: is the Jersey Shore’s first ever country duo (Reagan Richards & Gordon Brown). Their first performance on stage was in Asbury Park with Bruce Springsteen. They have created a unique sound all their own, and define Jersey Country, bringing together the roots and evolution of the genre while mixing it with the grit of their hometown influence. ROB DYE: Begåvat musikaliskt ankare under alla Light of Day-turnéer. Hans egen musik blandar Jersey Rock, old school Country och Stax-R&B-Soul.
