East London alt-pop artist Now Ex is kicking off.a whole new era of dark, electro stadium anthems.
The pseudonym for songwriter and acclaimed film director Nick Hampson, Now Ex is a multi-dimensional, highly visual pop experience. Nick’s films, the most recent of which was nominated for an Emmy award in 2023, have a lot in common with his music – they both create and explore parallel worlds that are one moment laced with painful euphoria, and the next flowing with an infectious lust for life. This visual identity, anchored by colour coded eras, makes Now Ex gigs truly memorable.

Tiny Oceans är Malmöbaserade Alina Björkén. Sedan 2022 har hon spelat runtomkring i Sverige samtidigt som hon släppt en serie singlar i samarbete med Lazy Octopus records (Virginia & The Flood, Mia Maria Johansson). Musiken rör sig i gränslandet mellan 90-talets alternativrock och 80-talets indie. Självklara referenser är Modest Mouse, Cure och Breeders. Medan inspelningarna stavas indiepop av den skevare skolan skevar liveversionen så pass att den borde falla i bitar. Som att cykla till jobbet i decemberregn.

On the live side, Nox Ex has a whole hist of sold out London shows under his belt, at famous venues like Camden Assembly, Omeara and the O2 Acadey Islington, as well as packed out debut shows in Hamburg and Berlin, Germany this past summer. Between November 2023 and February 2024, Now Ex will play another 17 European headline gigs across the UK, Germany, Czech Republic and Scandinavia. Frequent support from Spotify editorial playlists, alongside radio play from the likes of the BBC and RTE radio promises to make this a very big year ahead for Now Ex
