The Asbury Jukes Horns ft Joe D’Urso & Glenn Alexander: a Southside Johnny night (US)

Members of the backing band of Southside Johnny, The Asbury Jukes, comes to medley for an exclusive show where they perform the music of Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes together with Shadowland – the group formed around The Asbury Jukes guitarist Glenn Alexander — that will also play some originals. They will be accompanied by Joe D’Urso, who has been performing on stage with his own band, Joe D’Urso & Stone Caravan, since 1991 and has shared the stage multiple times with Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes.

Nu kommer Johnnys gamla blåssektion The Asbury Jukes Horns tillsammans med Joe D’Urso, Glenn Alexander & Shadowland och gör en unik Sverigespelning på medley onsdag den 5:e augusti! Detta får du inte missa.

Bruce Springsteens och Little Stevens kompis Southside Johnny uppträdde totalt 10 gånger på gamla & nya KB och blev en massiv Malmöfavorit med sina energiska och fullmatade rock’n’roll-shower. Bland annat var det ju Southside som gjorde första spelningen på nya KB. Taket lyfte till låtar som I Don’t Want To Go Home, Having a Party, All I Want Is Everything, This Time It’s For Real, Talk To Me, Hearts of Stone och många fler. Southside själv har tillkännagivit att han har slutat uppträda så detta är det närmaste vi kan komma just nu.

Som sångare hör vi Joe D’Urso och Glenn Alexander båda välkända från Asbury Parks musikscen. Båda har spelat in och uppträtt med Southside & The Asbury Jukes under lång tid. De kommer att köra några egna låtar, men absoluta merparten av setet är från Southside Johnnys katalog.
