JON STRIDER is a performing singer-songwriter and record producer from California, currently putting the finishing touches, here in Malmö, on his 10th solo album, entitled ‘The Raft’. It will be released under the artist name of ‘The StriderFactor’ on New Sky Records, sometime later in 2025. Jon’s music is essentially West Coast Americana, though he’s always called it “Rhythm n’ Folk” and “Retro-Rockin’ Country”. Think Jackson Browne, Vince Gill and Tom Petty. He is very much excited to join John Ström – and other special guests – on the medley Bistro stage. JOHN STRÖM In his seriously humorous way, with the occasional obscure reference, and an underlying subversiveness, John Ström is a unique singer-songwriter from Stockholm who settled in Malmö in 2000. In addition to his original songs John does evocative interpretations of the likes of Tom Waits, Tom Paxton and Phil Ochs. All in Swedish.
