SUMMARY:Harald Leander: Svantes visor – en sånghistoria
DESCRIPTION:Svantes Visor är berättelsen om den nästan okände\, numera försvunne och möjligen avlidne dansk-svenske poeten Svante Svendsen. En berättelse så gripande och fantastisk att den nästan måste vara sann… Den efterlängtade enmansföreställningen med skådespelaren Harald Leander återkommer till medley\, passa på att boka den\, medan tid är! Det blev utsålt på bistroscenen i mars så nu kör vi en ny föreställning i oktober! \n\n\n\nPris: 200 krKöp biljett\n\n\n\n1972 kom boken Svantes Viser – en sanghistorie ut i Danmark. Den innehåller sånger och berättelser av författaren och kompositören Benny Andersen. När skivan med Svantes visor kom ut året därpå\, blev de snart välkända för de allra flesta danskar.Det måste ha varit omkring 1978 som jag själv kom över ett exemplar av LP-skivan och fick den som favorit. Några av låtarna försökte jag mig på att sjunga vid några tillfällen\, men det var inte förrän knappt tio år senare\, då jag fick tag i bokversionen som idén om en föreställning tog form. Under mitt sista år på Teaterhögskolan i Malmö började jag arbeta mera målmedvetet och ett drygt år senare\, 1994\, hade föreställningen Svantes Visor – En dansk blues premiär på Nya Skånska Teatern i Landskrona. Tillsammans med pianisten Hans-Inge Magnusson spelade jag flitigt hemma och på turné. Därefter fick föreställningen nypremiär på Teater 23 i Malmö 1999 och då gjorde vi också ett album med låtarna. Såväl i Landskrona som i Malmö hade vi Benny Andersen själv i salongen\, som livligt uppskattade att hans svensk/danska gestalt hade fått en skånsk uttolkare – kongenialt! var omdömet. Sammanlagt har jag gjort långt över 100 föreställningar av Svantes Visor i olika tappningar och upplagor. Vissa av låtarna sjunger jag fortfarande regelbundet i olika sammanhang. Nu\, mer än femtio år efter det att den danske Svante såg dagens ljus\, och drygt trettio år efter att jag själv började umgås flitigt med honom\, är det dags för Svante och mig att på nytt möta publiken. Lite gråare kring tinningarna kanske\, men med samma starka kärlekslängtan\, självömkan\, humor och sångglädje som någonsin. A band from the sixties\, who changed course in the seventies\, never bowed to any then-current trends\, avoided great commercial success\, took a break for twenty years\, survived it all\, and have been going strong for the past twelve. Their audience is an amazing mix of young and old\, many of whom may have only recently discovered them. \n\n\n\nOver the course of the band’s extensive history\, they have been described as legendary Fillmore era San Francisco band\, as classic rock\, power pop\, punk rock\, garage rock\, and a few other categorizations (which are actually all correct). \n\n\n\nOriginating in San Francisco in 1966\, the band has been touring and performing (in)consistently for nearly six decades\, exceeding all expectations\, presenting their own unique and infectious style of rock ’n’ roll with such cult classics as ”Slow Death\,” ”Teenage Head\,” and of course\, ”Shake Some Action.” The current lineup features Cyril Jordan\, Tony Sales on drums\, Atom Ellis on bass\, and two newer\, younger members\, Sean Fitzsimmons and Miki Rogulj on guitars. DESCRIPTION:Mick Harvey and Amanda Acevedo return to Europe 2026 for a series of shows following on from the release of their album ‘Golden Mirrors’. He won the AFI Best Original Score for ’Suburban Mayhem’ in 2006 and in 2011 took out British Producer of the Year for his (co)production on PJ Harvey’s ’Let England Shake’. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMexican artist Amanda Acevedo is now deep into her ongoing collaboration with Mick Harvey. After spending 2020/21 studying film in her home town of San Luis Potisí\, Acevedo teamed up with one of her heroes to create a thematically rich collection of duets ‘Phantasmagoria in Blue’ and continues that work into 2025 with their new release ‘Golden Mirrors’. She is currently studying and working in Melbourne\, Australia. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n‘Golden Mirrors’ : The Uncovered Sessions Vol. 1 is the new album by Mick Harvey & Amanda Acevedo. It is envisaged as the first in a series of projects investigating songwriters for whom Harvey and Acevedo have a particular predilection. In this case the writer is Jackson C. Den senaste fullängdaren\, som spelades in och producerades tillsammans med prisbelönte Joakim Lindberg i Studio Sickan (Malmö)\,gavs ut våren 2024 med titeln ICON.Som en av Malmös mest lovande och gedigna musikexporter har trion på egen hand kastat sig ut på hela 12 Europaturnéer och kommit hem som ett explosivt liveband av rang. Spelningsantalet har sträckt sig en bra bit över 200-strecket och bandet har varit förband till The Hellacopters\, Graveyard\, The Bronx\, Supersuckers\, Hank von Hell\, Electric Six\, Valiant Thorr för att nämna några. Formed in 1981\, the group came of age in Boston and its members still consider themselves products of one of the city’s many musical golden ages. DESCRIPTION:Goodnight\, Texas is a band you’ve almost certainly heard somewhere. You’re going through their catalog\, hearing lyrics about trapped coal miners and lovebird bank robbers. Banjos and mandolins\, genre tough to pin down. Now you’re interested\, so you go see them live. The show is swelling to a fever pitch\, and suddenly they’re singing devastating harmonies off mic\, then rocking again\, full tilt. The band’s most recent album Signals is a raucous one. Its first single\, “RUNAWAYS\,” even features a guest solo from Metallica’s Kirk Hammett\, who admired the band’s version of “Of Wolf and Man” on the 2022 charity covers album The Metallica Blacklist. Beyond the memorable sock-you-in-the-face riffs\, GN\, TX seems to be stretching sonic roots deeper in every direction on Signals\, with studio help from Oakland’s Ian and Jay Pellicci (Deerhoof\, Tune-Yards). Stories of the Americana of yore blend into the near past and present via tales of DB Cooper and North Dakota oil field workers. Electric guitars pound like hammers\, but the mandolins still twinkle like dim stars. \n\n\n\nPris: 270 krKöp biljett\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGoogling\, you find recent features in NME\, Rolling Stone\, No Depression and Consequence of Sound\, and appearances at festivals such as Austin City Limits\, SXSW\, Red Wing Roots\, Old Settlers Festival and Beachlife Ranch. They’ve toured with acts such as The Dead South\, Larkin Poe\, Shakey Graves\, Trampled by Turtles\, The Brothers Comatose\, and John Craigie. In 2020\, their song “The Railroad” was the opening montage theme for episode one of Tiger King\, which had 53 million streams in its first week. Maybe that’s where you heard them in the first place. Or maybe it was the Coors Banquet commercial with Sam Elliott. Wait a minute\, they have 250 million streams across platforms. Maybe you heard them in your favorite bar\, or your friend’s car.On stage\, now late in the set\, the band burns through a yet-unreleased song that the die-hard fans up front don’t recognize. Perhaps they have new music coming in 2026? Also you are fairly certain you overhear their roadie mention plans for what appears to be their first ever tour in Europe. That’s a big deal. You text your cousins across the Atlantic to look Goodnight\, Texas up. \n\n\n\nStill at the merch table at last call\, you learn: Goodnight\, Texas is named for an actual hamlet of 27 people and dozens of dogs\, the exact mile-for-mile midpoint between co-founders Avi Vinocur and Patrick Dyer Wolf’s homes on each coast.
