DESCRIPTION:Nicolai Dunger berättar: ”När jag var 17-18 år kom jag över en bok på min brors bokhylla som hette Edith Södergrans samlade dikter. Jag var fascinerad över att jag tyckte det var kul att läsa och att jag tyckte mig kunna förstå dem. Jag började sjunga “Tills dagen svalnar” och lärde mig några nya ackord på gitarren samtidigt. E sus-ackordet gjorde skillnad kan man säga. Sen gick det av bara farten. Som att läsa i telefonkatalogen\, melodier tycktes ligga insprängda i hennes texter så det var väldigt enkelt. Det svåra skulle visa sig vara att få människor att lyssna på tonsättningarna. Det skulle ta ungefär 20 år till att dessa visor skulle bli inspelade. Min mamma dog 2003 och efter det gick jag tillbaks mycket i mitt liv och då blev det naturligt att ta mig an mina första trevande försök till komponerande . Den enda skillnaden var ju att jag var 36 år gammal och hade mer erfarenhet av livet då . Så den lilla krumbukten har betytt mycket i inspelningen av Ediths dikter. Att få spela in skivan i ett gammalt patronhus där mamma var född spelar in. Att sjunga och spela in på svenska och att spela med amerikanska trummisen Tim Barnes (Royal Trix\, Sonic Youth) gjorde sitt till\, liksom Mats Schubert på piano. Listan är lång. Listan är också lång på alla skivor jag har gjort i mitt liv men jag tror att mina Edith Södergran-tonsättningar kommer att leva längst för de är underligt nog de mest personliga jag har spelat in.” \n\n\n\nKonserten inleds med några låtar av instrumentalbandet Filipsson Gamba Rangstad. Bandet medverkar också som komp under Nicolais framträdande: piano/orgel\, trummor\, bas och klarinett/dragspel. \n\n\n\nPris: 250 krKöp biljett\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFilipsson Gamba Rangstad debuterade våren 2024 på det välrenommerade bolaget ST4T\, i ett sammanhang med artister som Ossler och Christian Gabels 1900. I samband med debutalbumet spelade trion live tillsammans med bland andra Vasas Flora och Fauna\, Dolce och Frida Hyvönen. Trots att FGR då var en ny konstellation var medlemmarna redan väl etablerade som flitiga musiker på den svenska musikscenen. Sedan debuten har bandets musik fortsatt att hitta nya lyssnare och uppmärksammats i både Sveriges Radio och SVT.2026 är FGR aktuella med sitt andra album\, Svartsjölandet\, döpt efter inspelningsplatsen på Färingsö\, ett kreativt nav där även band som Viagra Boys\, Träd\, Gräs och Stenar och Dungen har spelat in musik. Men FGR gör sig kanske allra bäst live. A band from the sixties\, who changed course in the seventies\, never bowed to any then-current trends\, avoided great commercial success\, took a break for twenty years\, survived it all\, and have been going strong for the past twelve. Aside from scoring 10 feature films and numerous short films and documentaries\, split almost evenly between Australia and Europe\, Harvey has also released 10 solo albums in the last 2 decades and been the recipient of several Australian Music Industry Awards. He won the AFI Best Original Score for ’Suburban Mayhem’ in 2006 and in 2011 took out British Producer of the Year for his (co)production on PJ Harvey’s ’Let England Shake’. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMexican artist Amanda Acevedo is now deep into her ongoing collaboration with Mick Harvey. After spending 2020/21 studying film in her home town of San Luis Potisí\, Acevedo teamed up with one of her heroes to create a thematically rich collection of duets ‘Phantasmagoria in Blue’ and continues that work into 2025 with their new release ‘Golden Mirrors’. She is currently studying and working in Melbourne\, Australia. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n‘Golden Mirrors’ : The Uncovered Sessions Vol. 1 is the new album by Mick Harvey & Amanda Acevedo. It is envisaged as the first in a series of projects investigating songwriters for whom Harvey and Acevedo have a particular predilection. In this case the writer is Jackson C. Formed in 1981\, the group came of age in Boston and its members still consider themselves products of one of the city’s many musical golden ages.
